After six weeks and twelve episodes, 'Maitino: el podcast', the audio fiction that tells the story of Maite and Camino in Paris, comes to an end. And it does so in style! As in all the previous instalments, the publication of the last chapter has caused a real stir on social networks, as we can see from its rapid entry into the Trending Topics on Twitter.

The 'maitiners', followers of the 'shippeo'maitino' and great promoters of this spin off wait every Monday and Thursday to listen, comment and promote the sound fiction in order to reach a new objective after the success of the podcast: an audiovisual fiction of their own.r.

A viral story

The story of Maite and Camino was popularised in 'Acacias 38', the TV series that TVE broadcasts every day from Monday to Friday on La 1 and rtve.es.

But the relevance of this love story was forged in social networks and crossed Spanish borders to reach the whole world. The lack of diverse love stories and the chemistry between the actresses seem to be the reason why they have gone beyond the television screen and have become one of the most acclaimed couples on the Internet.

Maitino: the podcast

After the couple's departure from 'Acacias 38', their fans have had the opportunity to get to know their new life in Paris through this sound fiction that has been broadcast over the last six weeks.

During this time, the story has managed to boost the enthusiasm and unity of a fandom that continues to fight and clamour for an audiovisual spin-off with them as the main characters. Will they get it?

For the moment, we can listen to the beginning of this new adventure in Paris through 'Maitino: el podcast, on RNE's 'Sólo en Podcast' and on the YouTube channel of rtve.es.
