BIOGRAPHY

Ylenia Baglietto was born in Eibar (Gipuzkoa) and from a very young age she showed talent for singing and dancing. She oriented these hobbies to the practice of rhythmic gymnastics in the "Club Gimnasia Rítmica Ipurua" in her city with which she became Champion of Spain in Individual in the years 2000 and 2002 and in Groups in the year 2001.​ Gymnastics served him, in his own words, to "bring out the artistic side that I now show on television." ​

He later studied acting at the Getxo theater school.

She went to a casting and got her first role as a television actress in the series Goenkale, the cult and longest-running series on Basque television, ETB, and which was a school and showcase for numerous Basque actresses and actors who began their careers in this Serie. It is incorporated in the 16th season of the series playing Eider. He plays the same role in the play of the same name that was put on the bill to coincide with season 18.

In 2015, she received the Ercilla Award for Best New Actress in Theater for her performance in Chekhov's La Gaviota.

Thus begins an uninterrupted professional career in which he alternates both television series, cinema and theater.​ It reaches its most notable public repercussion as a result of giving life to the character of Maite Zaldúa in the series Acacias 38 of Spanish Television.
