The programs 'Joseba Arguiñano Sukalerrian', 'Udak Dakarrena', 'Plazandreak', 'Etxekoak', 'The Basque Route', 'El Club del Tupper', 'A Bocados Verano' and a wide range of sports stand out.
Euskal Telebista has presented this Friday (June 26) the programming it has prepared for this summer. Gorka Garcia, Artistic and Program Director of ETB, has led the event and has been accompanied by ETB Sports Director Joseba Urkiola and a large group of presenters and actors: Julian Iantzi, Ander Gonzalez, Joseba Arguiñano, Klaudio Landa, Sara Gandara , Ilaski Serrano, Gentzane Aldai, Javi Sierra, Zigor Iturrieta, Alberto Santana, Fermin Aramendi, Arantza Ruiz, Xabi Ormazabal, Ylenia Baglietto, Miren Arrieta and Olatz Ganboa.
ETB1
Joseba Arguiñano Sukalerrian (from June 29, from Monday to Friday, at 1:00 p.m.)
Joseba Arguiñano will be at the forefront of a new gastronomic space "Joseba Arguiñano Sukalerrian" that will be broadcast from Monday to Friday prior to the informative "Gaur Egun" at noon and which will feature people on foot. Every day, Joseba will receive a guest on his set, with whom he will cook, comment on all the curiosities of the recipe that they are preparing and share the most amazing stories, experiences and the most curious gastronomic data.
Udak Dakarrena (from July 20, Monday to Thursday, at 9:30 p.m.)
The talk show "Udak Dakarrena" that Julian Iantzi will present will offer us the chronicle of the summer in Euskadi, a summer in which we will enjoy leisure in a different way. It will be the citizens themselves who will tell us their particular stories, either coming as guests to the set of the program or attending to reporters. Julian will travel through the Basque geography with two sofas: in one of them will sit the citizens who dare to talk, dance or sing; in another you will receive a famous guest, with whom you will chat about the stories that we will meet in the program.
Chiloé, Lasterka Munduan (from July 14, on Tuesdays, at 10:30 p.m.)
Zigor Iturrieta continues to travel from continent to continent in search of new sporting challenges in the fourth season of the "Chiloé, Lasterka Munduan" program. The Yamaguchi prefecture in Japan, the San Miguel island of the Azores archipelago, the French region of La Vendée, Menorca and Gran Canaria will be his next destinations. Your objective will be to get to know the most amazing culture, gastronomy, people and landscapes and, of course, to participate in the mountain races that are organized in each place.
Plazandreak (from July 3, on Thursdays, at 10:30 p.m.)
This novel program that will unveil the women's ball will be broadcast on Thursday nights on ETB1. Twelve players will participate in the competition, distributed in four teams, each with its own coach. Each week they will play three games, two singles and one in pairs, twelve goals each and using the mixed ball. Every Thursday two teams will compete and three points will be put into play. In the last program we will know which is the best female team in Euskal Herria.
The "Plazandreak" program will be hosted by Iñigo Aiestaran, Elena Azpeitia and Gentzane Aldai.
Etxekoak Udan (from July 19, on Sundays at 22:00)
The protagonists of the series "Etxekoak" who have accompanied us during the confinement return to ETB1 in the summer with new stories. Along with Olatz Ganboa and Mikel Losada (Nerea and Aitor), Miren Gojenola and Mikel Laskurain (Arantxa and Iñaki), Ylenia Baglietto (María), Miren Gaztañaga (Eider), Iker Galartza (Oier), Joseba Usabiaga (Unai), Kandido Uranga (Xanti) and Miren Arrieta (Izaro) will participate new actors. As in the previous season, the characters will communicate through video calls, but this time they will also see faces on the street, on the beach or by the pool, yes, fulfilling the conditions of the new normality. Iker Lauroba has adapted the song from the series to the summer season.
Special broadcasts
Starting on July 13, ETB1 will offer the musical recitals of "Kulturunea" (Monday, 10:30 pm) that have previously been broadcast by streaming on the EiTB and Vital Fundazioa websites, thanks to the collaboration between the two entities. Ilaski Serrano will perform the presentations of the concerts of these Basque artists: Belako, Mikel Erentxun, Liher, Gari, Modus Operandi, Eñaut Elorrieta, The Soulbreaker Company, Iñaki Palacios eta bere Banda, Moonshine Wagon, Xabi Solano and Mikel Urdangarin.
On the other hand, EiTB will make small winks to the parties that are not going to be held this year. Thus, on July 6, a live program will be broadcast from the Baluarte palace in Pamplona, "Txupinazoa Gogoan", with Ilaski Serrano, Aritz Agirre and Jaione Carpintero. They will carry out interviews and live connections, and they will remember the Sanfemines of other years with videos. In addition, they will have the live performance of the groups Voces Riberas and Puro Relajo.
In August, special programs are planned to remember other important events such as the festivities of the Virgen Blanca in Vitoria-Gasteiz, the Semana Grande de San Sebastián and the Aste Nagusia in Bilbao.
Live sports broadcasts
On June 14, live sports broadcasts resumed on ETB1 with the record attempt of Aizkolari Iker Vicente. The space "ETB Kantxa" has returned this week from the Astelena pediment of Eibar, with the first day of the CaixaBank Masters organized by the Liga de Empresas de Pelota a Mano (LEPM) and CaixaBank. ETB will offer three weekly festivals throughout the summer (Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night). We will also have a live lift on Saturday afternoons from the Galarreta de Hernani pediment and the final of the Emakume Master Cup this Sunday afternoon from Irun.
The rowing season will begin on July 4 at ETB, with two weekly appointments, Saturday 5:30 pm and Sunday 11:30 am. And the herri kirolak window will remain open throughout the summer to offer the men's and women's aizkolari and stone-lifting competitions.
ETB1 will also broadcast live tests of the international cycling calendar that have been delayed due to the coronavirus: the Vuelta a Burgos (July 28-August 1), Dauphiné Liberé (August 12-16) and Tour de France (August 29- September 20).
Finally, "Area Txikia" will continue to offer summaries of the meetings of the Basque teams and interviews with the protagonists of each day until the end of the league.
ETB2
A Bocados Verano (from June 29, Monday to Friday, at 8:15 p.m.)
On Monday, June 29, a new edition of "A Bocados Verano" will begin, this time by Ander Gonzalez and Gabriela Uriarte, who in the 2020 summer season have decided to continue together to transfer all the benefits of our cuisine and our corners more attractive to viewers. And they will do it from an exceptional enclave, an idyllic terrace located next to the Peine del Viento in San Sebastián. Among the novelties of this edition, viewers will have an open window with the program and will be able to expose their doubts to the presenters. In addition, the program will have several reporters.
Allí Abajo (from June 29, Monday to Friday, at 4:30 p.m.)
ETB2 will broadcast every afternoon after the informative "Teleberri" at noon and before the current program "Que Me Eres Contando" the series "There Below", which stars Iñaki (Jon Plazaola), a thirty-five-year-old Basque who he has never left the Basque Country. He lives with his mother, Maritxu (Ane Gabarain), who sees Iñaki as an eternal child unable to function on his own in life. His longtime friends and the bar he runs, inherited from his late father, are his top concerns. But Iñaki's life changes radically when he sets out on a trip to Seville with his mother and meets Carmen (María León).
The Tupper Club (from July 6, on Mondays, at 10:30 p.m.)
Celebrities, cuisine and humor. That's the recipe "The Tupper Club" proposes to viewers this summer for Monday night on ETB2. The chef and presenter Javi Sierra will invite three famous people every week to compete with each other on the stove. Each participant will prepare a recipe and will not know who they are competing against until the end, when all the guests meet at the Tupper Club headquarters. Participants will cook at home and send their elaborations to the rest within two tuppers through a courier service. After trying the dishes, each of them will choose their favorite tupper, although their vote will not be the only one, since Javi Sierra will also value the different proposals and will vote equally. In the event of a tie, Javi's vote will be decisive.
A History of Vasconia (from August 5, on Wednesdays, at 10:30 p.m.)
From August 5, ETB2 will broadcast the third season of "A History of Vasconia", a documentary series in which the historian Alberto Santana offers us a critical and updated vision of the history of the Basque people. On this occasion, he will speak to us about the Basque matriarchy, Christianity, gastronomy, smugglers, slave traders….
The Basque Route (airs from June 18 on Thursdays at 10:30 p.m.)
Since June 18, Iñaki Urrutia has traveled eight tourist routes throughout the Basque Country on board a van in "The Basque Route". Accompanied each week by a famous face, he presents us with a renewed, safe and free tourist offer of the Covid-19 for traveling with family, pets, adventure activities or enjoying religious tourism. The program pays special attention to sustainable trade and the Made in Euskadi product.
"The Night of ..." and the cinema
The program "La Noche de ..." presented by Félix Linares will continue faithful to his appointment on Tuesdays, premiering summer sections and offering some of the best titles on the card. The cinema, in fact, will also have an important space in the programming and, among others, ETB will offer this summer the films Suicide Squad, An Open Relationship, Welcome to Villa Capri, To Win !, Klondike and Malaterra.
ETB, pending information and news
And of course, ETB will continue to await the information and news that is marked by the coronavirus crisis and by the electoral appointment on July 12. The information services with "Egun On Euskadi", "Gaur Egun" and "Teleberri" will count daily all the most notable national and international news, and will carry out an extensive follow-up of the electoral campaign and the post-electoral panorama in Euskadi, in addition to tackle all the news that have to do with the Covid-19. Likewise, during the month of July the programs "En Jake" presented by Xabier Lapitz on ETB2, and "Eztabaidan" by ETB1 with Klaudio Landa at the head and their discussion and reporting tables will continue to take the pulse of current events. Also, in the afternoons, on ETB2, the news, the opinion, the social issues that interest you most and the live information of the summer in the Basque Country will be reflected in "What Are You Telling Me" with Arantza Ruiz and Xabi Ormazabal.
ETB3
Coinciding with the holidays of the little ones, ETB3 has prepared a wide range of entertainment, highlighting the new "Erronkan" program, presented by Iholdi Beristain and Ekain Ibarguren. This space for children and young people offers fun challenges between schools and contributes to spreading Basque in an attractive and fun way. You can also enjoy the best moments of the season of "3 Jan Kantak" and the space in which the Hiru3 community members are congratulated remains. Among the cartoon series, the summer period brings us two novelties: "Altxor jagoleak" eta "Isatsdun heroiak: animalien detektibeak", in addition to the series "Lars Zonbia" released in February.
