Q .: How are you living these days?
A .: Very well, I am taking advantage of doing things that I could not do before. At home I have a guitar that I bought 6 years ago on a trip to Lisbon but I didn't know how to play it. So, I thought about starting to use it because I know it takes time to learn to play an instrument and until now I didn't have it. Every day I do sports, I watch series ...
Q .: At least you don't get bored ...
A .: You see no (laughs). In fact, some days, they go by very quickly.
Q .: You started in the ‘Goenkale’ series. What memories do you have of that time?
A .: Very good. I finished studying at the theater school in Getxo (Bizkaia) and in that same year I joined the cast of the series. I remember that, for me, it was a great gift. Working with Patxo Tellería was a dream and with him I learned a lot. It was a series that I watched regularly and I started living it from the inside as one more character. I was 23 years old and all this was a true master's degree; You don't know what the profession is until you start working. I did my Eider character for 3 years and I loved her because she had a very nice plot. It has also given me many friends that I still have.
Q .: The series 'Presunto Culpable' arrived, after other work ...
A .: Yes, and I also have an anecdote. I went to accompany Lander Otaola to Donostia-San Sebastián to do the casting, and being there, they asked me if I wanted to do the test. The following week they called me to go to Madrid to do another audition. I went there and they told me it didn't fit the character's profile. After a month they called me and said yes, but to play another character. ‘Presumed guilty’ and ‘Acacias 38’ are from the same producer and I think life gave me that gift and then received this.
Q: have you become known for your role in ‘Acacias 38’…
A: Yes, he has been a very successful character and I can see that, above all, on social networks. People really like the series and every day I get a lot of messages thanking me. I think for them it is a very important plot and that is why it has been very successful.
Q .: All this happens at the beginning of the 20th century ...
A .: Imagine! At that time it was very difficult to be homosexual because it was a very traditional society and they could not visualize this type of relationship. It is important to see, today, how people in the community were punished and see that today we are not as advanced as we think.
Q .: You have also been in the cinema with many films ...
A .: Sometimes it happens to me that I forget all the work I have done (laughs), but I start looking at my resume and I think I have not stopped. I have been in the profession for about 11 years and I have not stopped a year. This in this profession is a triumph because the normal thing is to be unemployed. Normally that happens to me in summer, but it is because I take vacations and I do not find out.
Q .: Everything has stopped now. Did they tell you something?
A .: When the confinement took place, the filming stopped. When all this happens we will continue with the recordings, but we do not know when it will be or under what conditions. For example, in the theater, I had to perform 'La boda de los pequenos burgueses' and that has been canceled and we will not do it again. We are waiting to see what happens.
Q .: What is the first thing you are going to do when this is all over?
A .: Take the car and hug and see my family; I haven't seen them for a long time.
Q .: What wish would you ask for?
A .: May my dreams continue to be fulfilled, but I will continue working so that they are all fulfilled.
