A sequel to Boomerang TV's fiction with two of the most beloved characters by the audience is already in the works.
Diversity and visibility have become essential in ‘Acacias 38’, the daily series that Boomerang TV produces for Spanish Television. The daily bet of La 1 counts among its characters with Maite (Ylenia Baglietto) and Camino (Aria Bedmar), two women who form the couple called « Maitino ». Both are an example of love and diversity and therefore they have quickly become two of the most popular characters in public daily fiction; both already accumulate fans in countries around the planet.
Maite and Camino in ‘Acacias 38’
China, Brazil, Colombia or Argentina are some of the territories where there are already « maitiners », a success in social networks that explains that RTVE has wanted to bet on the couple in a new podcast that is already being recorded in the RNE studios. The Corporation has given the green light to this spin-off of ‘Acacias 38’ starring Maite and Camino. Through his voice we will discover new details of his story and we will be able to know much more about both characters, as their protagonists explained in the TVE program ‘Corazón’.
« We will listen to them in their moments of solitude, of love … we will see their deepest feelings through the voice », explains Baglietto in the piece broadcast in a format led by Anne Igartiburu. For now it is unknown when this extremely special podcast will be launched for all « maitiners » but what the public network has already confirmed is that will be published on the fiction website, as has happened with other TVE sound series like ‘A call in time’ and ‘Brave time’ from ‘The Ministry of Time’.
Maite returns to ‘Acacias 38’
The recording of this podcast occurs when the character of Maite has returned to the neighborhood where he met Camino. After learning of Ildefonso’s death, Maite decides to travel from France to Spain to be by the woman of his life in this difficult moment after months apart. The girl decides to appear by surprise in Acacias in the celebration of Camino’s 21st anniversary; a return that undoubtedly causes a great turn in the history of both. Will they end up reconciling or is their distance definitive?
