TVE has decided to expand the love story of Maite and Camino (Maitino) beyond the screen and 'Acacias 38', with a spin-off in the form of a podcast.

"Maite and Camino have put half the world in their pockets with their story of forbidden love," Anne Igartiburu began in Heart, recounting two of the most beloved characters in Acacias 38 who, after four months apart, have been reunited in the serial from TVE.
With a strategy similar to Luimelia, the spin off of Luisita and Amelia, a couple in the Antena 3 fiction, Amar es para siempre, TVE has decided to extend the Maitino phenomenon, as its fans know it, beyond the screen, through a podcast. In short, "a radio serial of a lifetime", which will be available on the RTVE website.
"We are going to listen to them in their moments of solitude, of love, in their deepest moments through the voice," Maite's interpreter, Ylenia Baglietto, explained about the project.
The actress defended that having shown "two women truly loving each other" is what has motivated "that the relationship has been so successful." Impression that she shared with her partner, Aria Bedmar, who listed "Germany, Russia and China", among the countries that Maitino's story has reached, regardless of whether the series has come dubbed.
