El Festival de Teatro de Olite 2020 ofrece sus últimos espectáculos y esta noche, a las 22.00 horas, el escenario de La Cava acogerá Yo, la peor del mundo. Con todas las localidades vendidas, Vaivén Producciones pondrá en escena un reivindicativo montaje que cuenta que nos cuenta la historia de una mujer que se enfrenta a todo y a todos para ser libre.
Dirigido por Olga Margallo y protagonizado por Itxaso Quintana, Nerea Gorriti, Ylenia Baglietto, Ana Pimenta y Ugaitz Alegria, Yo, la peor del mundo es un espectáculo musical vibrante y de rabiosa actualidad, que gira en torno a la figura de Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. El montaje, cuyo texto firma Antonio Muñoz de Mesa, muestra cómo con sus versos, la escritora novohispana, exponente del Siglo de Oro de la literatura en español, hechiza la corte colonial mexicana de un Imperio decadente donde se convierte en amante de los poderosos, musa del Siglo de Oro y víctima de una Iglesia que no puede someter su espíritu rebelde.
CICLO DE POÉTICA TEATRAL Además, el ciclo de Poética Teatral contará hoy con la representación de Ahora me toca a mí, en Centro Cultural Tafalla Kulturgunea. La dramaturgia y dirección corren a cargo de Miguel Goikoetxandia y Ana Berrade y David Larrea son los intérpretes del mismo.

The Olite 2020 Theater Festival offers its latest shows and tonight, at 10 p.m., the La Cava stage will host Yo, la worst in the world. With all the tickets sold, Vaivén Producciones will stage a vindictive production that tells the story of a woman who faces everything and everyone to be free.
Directed by Olga Margallo and starring Itxaso Quintana, Nerea Gorriti, Ylenia Baglietto, Ana Pimenta and Ugaitz Alegria, Yo, the worst in the world is a vibrant and highly topical musical show that revolves around the figure of Sor Juana Inés de the cross. The montage, whose text is signed by Antonio Muñoz de Mesa, shows how with her verses, the New Spanish writer, exponent of the Golden Age of literature in Spanish, enchants the Mexican colonial court of a decadent Empire where she becomes a lover of the powerful, muse of the Golden Age and victim of a Church that cannot subdue its rebellious spirit.
THEATER POETRY CYCLE In addition, the Theater Poetics cycle today will feature the representation of Now it's my turn, at the Tafalla Kulturgunea Cultural Center. The dramaturgy and direction are in charge of Miguel Goikoetxandia and Ana Berrade and David Larrea are the interpreters of the same.
