Hay historias de amor que necesitan de un ejército para que no mueran nunca. Y tengan una, dos, tres o cuarto primeras citas, las que sean necesarias, para hacer entender que hay un público que pide a gritos verse bien reflejados.

Creo reconocer haber vivido diferentes etapas de lo que un fandom es capaz de conseguir. Entiendo que es algo que se da por ciclos. Que viene por etapas. Momentos en los que tiene un mayor o un menor poder. Puede que también sea por las otras personas que estén al otro lado. La empatía o la comprensión que se ejerza sobre una necesidad o no.
Hoy en día, en nuestro país, tenemos dos casos muy claros y concisos. Por un lado el efecto Luimelia y por otro, el efecto Maitino. Ambos vienen a saldar una cuenta. Esa buena visibilidad que siempre ha faltado entre el amor de dos mujeres.
No son la primera historia. Ya ha habido tramas con dos chicas que se amaban o se deseaban o donde estallaba la pasión. Pero esa parte final, la pasión, se quedaba en un segundo lugar. Había como una obsesión por contar algo bonito sin ser capaces de encajar dicha parte bonita con la sexual. Era como miedo a provocar algo erróneo. Las escenas quedaban frías. Un querer y no poder. Por lo tanto, el público, terminaba sintiendo la misma frialdad y lo que podría haber cuajado mejor, quedaba, siempre, a medio camino.
Ahora, Luimelia y Matino han realizado el camino contrario. Dos historias, en épocas diferentes, donde dos mujeres se enamoran y no se esconde ese amor sexual. Ni tampoco se sobre ejecuta. La clave está en ser sutil. En mostrar sin perder dulzura ni la historia que de verdad se quiere narrar.
Ambos proyectos se han plantado con honestidad. Sin esconderse ni mirar a otro lado. Han ido ejecutando, lentamente, los propósitos. No se han fijado en nadie ni han intentado hacer un símil. Y la consecuencia ha llegado en un ejército de fans dispuestas a defender la historia y a sus actrices. ¿Por qué a estas últimas también? Porque Paula Usero, Carol Rovira, Aria Bedmar e Ylenia Baglietto han sido, han estado, son y están para el personaje. En una comunión demencial. Comprendiendo qué significa una buena representación y visibilización. Acercándose al público y mostrando determinación.
Luimelia podría haberse quedado en ‘Amar es para siempre’. Y haberse perdido en el olvido con el paso de los años. O Maitino, exactamente igual, en ‘Acacias 38’. Pero estamos en ese ciclo de lucha y pelea. De conseguir propósitos. Y #Luimelia salta a Atresplayer y #Maitino llega, de momento, en formato de podcast a RTVE. Dos logros por ese ejército de personas que han visto reflejado un amor de la forma en la que necesitaban verlo. Y con profesionales dispuestas a sentir los personajes como pocas veces. Cuando todo esto se une en un mismo cóctel, ¿quién puede frenarlo?
El poder del fandom, para una mejor visibilidad, es sumamente importante y no debería morir nunca. El público ha demostrado que las historias, los personajes, pueden seguir teniendo vida si se hace ruido. El silencio nunca ha traído buenos resultados.

I think I admit having lived through different stages of what a fandom is capable of achieving. I understand that it is something that occurs in cycles. Which comes in stages. Moments in which he has a greater or lesser power. It may also be because of the other people on the other side. Empathy or understanding that is exercised over a need or not.
Today, in our country, we have two very clear and concise cases. On the one hand the Luimelia effect and on the other, the Maitino effect. They both come to settle an account. That good visibility that has always been missing between the love of two women.
They are not the first story. There have already been plots with two girls who loved each other or wished each other or where passion exploded. But that final part, passion, stayed in second place. There was like an obsession to tell something beautiful without being able to fit that beautiful part with the sexual one. It was like fear of causing something wrong. The scenes were cold. A wanting and not being able to. Therefore, the public, ended up feeling the same coldness and what could have curdled better, was always halfway.
Now, Luimelia and Matino have gone the other way. Two stories, in different times, where two women fall in love and that sexual love is not hidden. Nor is it over-executed. The key is to be subtle. In showing without losing sweetness or the story that you really want to tell.
Both projects have been honestly planted. Without hiding or looking away. They have been executing, slowly, the resolutions. They have not noticed anyone nor have they tried to make a simile. And the consequence has come in an army of fans willing to defend history and its actresses. Why the latter too? Because Paula Usero, Carol Rovira, Aria Bedmar and Ylenia Baglietto have been, have been, are and are for the character. In an insane communion. Understanding what a good representation and visibility means. Approaching the audience and showing determination.
Luimelia could stay in 'Amar es para siempre'. And I hope lost in oblivion over the years. Or Maitino, exactly the same, in 'Acacias 38'. But we are in that cycle of fight and fight. To achieve purposes. And #Luimelia jumps to Atresplayer and #Maitino arrives, for now, in podcast format on RTVE. Two achievements by that army of people who have seen a love reflected in the way they needed to see it. And with professionals willing to feel the characters as rarely. When all this comes together in one cocktail, who can stop it?
The power of fandom, for better visibility, is extremely important and should never die. The public has shown that the stories, the characters, can continue to have life if noise is made. Silence has never brought good results.
