Maite y Camino es, literalmente, una historia del corazón. De todo lo que nos puede dar y todo lo que nos puede quitar. De la entrega y de la pérdida. Una historia donde lo más relevante es sentir. Maite llegó a la vida de Camino de forma inesperada. Como esas grandes historias de amor que siempre hemos visto tanto en pequeña como en gran pantalla. Una historia que se fue construyendo lentamente. Minuto a minuto. Mirada a mirada. Sin prisas. Creando un amor. De esos bonitos. Los que arrasan en tu interior. De los que te muestran que la vida puede ser un tanto diferente. Algo que no esperabas. Un poco más sorprendente. Pero también es una historia de amor de esas que, sí o sí, van a doler. Aprendimos que hay un tiempo para todo. Y que durante dicho tiempo la paciencia es la mejor arma. Y que la esperanza nos puede salvar de todo. Hasta de nuestra propia familia.

Camino para Maite es luz. Una nueva oportunidad. Y el amor. Maite, junto a ella, da rienda suelta a la felicidad. Comienza a creer en ella. En que es posible ser feliz. A pensar que es alcanzable. Y aunque intenta sacrificarse y huir de sus sentimientos, se deja de llevar. Porque el amor va de eso. De sentir. Abrazar, querer, acariciar. Sin prejuicios. Sin normas sin sentido.

Look to look. With no hurries. Creating a love. Of those pretty ones. Those who sweep inside you. The kind that shows you that life can be a bit different. Something you did not expect. A little more surprising. But it is also a love story of those that, yes or yes, will hurt. One of those that, sooner or later, will bleed you out. Because not all loves, in all ages, were free.
Maite and Camino show us that loving and being loved was not always easy. That the word inverted, pervert ... was at the order of the day. Flagging and reporting was a quick and easy method to do. That understanding and communication were never strong points in a society run from fear. As usual.
That freedom had a very high price. But not to give up. That dreams, even if they are shattered against reality, should not be allowed to escape. Because belief is much stronger than any register norm.
We learned that there is a time for everything. And that during that time patience is the best weapon. And that hope can save us from everything. Even from our own family.
Who is Camino for Maite?
Camino for Maite is light. A new opportunity. And love. Maite, next to her, gives free rein to happiness. She starts believing in herself. That it is possible to be happy. To think that it is achievable. And although she tries to sacrifice herself and run away from her feelings, she just let go. Because love is about that. To feel. Hug, love, caress. Unprejudiced. Without meaningless rules.
And she gives everything for her. Until life is too unfair to continue taking one more hit. And it's much easier to run away. And more complicated. That is why, sometimes, letting time pass can give us a stroke of light in the face of so much darkness.

Camino finds strength and loyalty. And huge wings to dream. Because the latter is much more important than we can imagine. Dream, believe and trust yourself. And to think that you deserve something much better than what you have. Or what they make you believe you have.
Camino waits for Maite even though she thinks she doesn't. Even if she thinks she has lost hope. But waits unconsciously. She waits because she knows that a love so great and deep cannot be lost between the times dictated by a society that is sick in thoughts and attitude.
